Why lifelong learning is important

We encourage our employees to be lifelong learners and remain flexible to change, because we believe that we all need to adapt to longer working lives in order to cope with demographic change.

With a variety of internal training and development programs, we create the framework for every employee, from trainees to managers, to develop and improve their potential.


Offers for existing employees

Siltronic offers extensive opportunities for further development so that employees can make the best possible use of their potential. These relate to personal, management, social and professional skills. Employees and their managers discuss development measures at least once a year as part of employee appraisals. This applies to all levels of employees and locations.


For employees of partner companies

We also offer training courses to employees of our partner companies. Some of these are mandatory.


Starting your career with Siltronic

At the Burghausen and Freiberg sites, we offer training as a mechatronics technician, electronics technician, industrial mechanic and industrial clerk at Siltronic, and we also employ dual students from various disciplines.

We offer onboarding seminars for new employees to familiarize them with the company and its corporate culture.
