Internships
We are always looking for motivated students with scientific, technical and economic backgrounds to complete their mandatory or voluntary internship with us to gain industrial experience. As an intern you will not only get an insight into your future working day, but also into various projects. You will be supervised by experienced experts and receive an adequate internship compensation.
Siltronic also supports the Singapore-Industry Scholarship (SgIS), ITE Work-Study Diploma, ITE Traineeship and SGUnited Traineeship Programmes with the relevant Government bodies.

Thesis (Bachelor, Master, Diploma)
You learn from us - we learn from you. We support you in writing your bachelor, master or diploma thesis with practical relevance. For the duration of your thesis, you will receive a fixed-term employment contract and a corresponding salary. You will be supervised by experts and we will provide all the necessary materials.

At a glance

Non Disclosure Agreement: Upon finalization, you are required to provide us with a copy of your work; depending on the sensitivity of the topic, a non-disclosure agreement with the university is mandatory.
Working students
Working students supporting during the summer
We offer students and high school students above the age of 18 the opportunity to gain industrial practical experience during the semester or school vacations (in the period from July to September). The duration of the employment is between four and six weeks. During this time, you will mainly be employed in our production or in production-related areas. Your salary is based on the collectively agreed and company regulations. The application period for summer 2024 begins on February 19, 2024 and ends on May 31, 2024. We look forward to receiving your application for our sites in Burghausen and Freiberg.
Working students long-term
You would like to work in one of our teams for a longer period of time during your studies and thus get to know the daily work routine thoroughly? Then a working student position is the right choice for you! You will get a good insight into your future professional life, you can build up a network within the company and earn money while you study. Your working hours may vary. During the lecture period, you may not exceed 20 hours per week. During the lecture-free period, you can also increase to full-time if necessary. You are welcome to apply online for an available position.
Burghausen Dual Studies
If you are studying business administration at the Burghausen Campus of the TH Rosenheim, we will support you in the module "Burghausen Dual". The study program is based on a weekly model, in which you can spend two days with us as a working student from the second semester onwards. During the semester break, the assignment can be increased to full-time. You will also complete the practical semester and the bachelor thesis at Siltronic.
