Siltronic’s executive board member Dr. Michael Peterat retires

  • Responsibilities to be taken over by other board members

Dr. Michael Peterat (63) is retiring from the Executive Board of Siltronic AG effective November 1, 2009.

Dr. Peterat, who studied mineralogy at Munich University (TU), has held senior management positions within WACKER since 1980. In November 2004, he joined the Executive Board of Siltronic AG as Personnel Director and Chief Operations Officer.

Dr. Peterat’s duties will be taken over by Executive Board members Dr. Gerhard Brehm, Paul Lindblad and Dr. Joachim Manke. Dr. Brehm will be responsible for German production sites and Mr. Lindblad for all non-German sites. Dr. Manke will become Personnel Director.
