Siltronic signs Diversity Charter

Siltronic AG has signed the Diversity Charter. As an international company with production sites in Asia, Germany, and the USA, Siltronic has always actively pursued diversity as a corporate objective. “By signing the Diversity Charter, we hope to send a clear signal and also officially make our value system visible to the community,” says Dr. Christoph von Plotho, CEO of Siltronic AG.

The initiative is under the patronage of German Chancellor Angela Merkel and is intended to anchor the idea of diversity in the German corporate landscape. The objective is to create an unprejudiced work environment that is based on inclusion and mutual respect.

By signing the Diversity Charter, Siltronic commits to the active implementation and promotion of equal opportunity and diversity. Siltronic cultivates a corporate culture that is shaped by mutual respect and esteem for each individual.

“Each person is unique and consequently has different strengths to contribute. We are convinced that diversity promotes us as a company and advances the entire staff and takes advantage of potential that is often overlooked,” emphasizes Rainer Irle, CFO of Siltronic AG and Labor Director.

The executive board has appointed Cordelia Zuerner, HR Business Partner, as Diversity Officer. She will continue to develop diversity management throughout the entire company. In addition to supporting positive action for women, she will also be focusing on diversity in training, age structure, and nationality.
